Paid Ads On Instagram To Get Followers

Growing your Instagram following can be exciting! But it's incredibly important to grow your following with the right audience. You don't want to focus on ads to folks outside of your general area (however, if these people follow you, that's okay), completely avoid asking other real estate agents to follow your page, they aren't your target market, and no matter what you do, do NOT purchase followers. The day you purchase followers for your page, you might as well delete it, because it won't do you any good. When you purchase likes, you're purchasing likes from bots or in some cases, hacked accounts, which will never engage with your content, let alone turn into a lead.

Setting up ads to get followers is pretty simple. You'll get a much stronger conversion getting followers for dollars spent, which in turn can end up being clients that will actually hire you. Before you set up our recommended ad, be sure your page is set-up correctly. If you don't have a page with any content, or content that has no consistency, not many people are going to be interested in following you. If you haven't already, visit our branding modules to set your Instagram page up the best way.

The best ad to run on Instagram to get more followers is going to be something that is going to be the focus of your Instagram theme and your niche market. You want a photo that is going to capture a lot of attention, and get a lot of engagement. Because it's in that engagement that the followers will come. Before you choose the photo for your ad, make sure you have the following:

1. Make sure you have a focus on a niche that you're going to be working on.

2. Make sure you have a consistent Instagram theme. (Photo style)

3. Make sure your Instagram page tells a story, and your photo of choice is a big part of that.

4. Your photo must be high quality and bright.

5. Make sure your photo is a square, not a rectangle, or it will get cropped.

Once you've got this checked off, you'll want to add a picture, and add verbiage that connects with that picture. DON'T make your photo a sales pitch. This is going to turn people off. You want to connect to people on a local level by offering them something, and that's through entertainment in this instance. If you add a picture of a historical home in your area, and your page theme is going to be about historical stuff in your local community, add verbiage to that. When you upload a picture and write something pertaining to the photo, add something simple to the end like "Don't forget to follow my/our page, we have a lot more goodies like this coming up!"
